CME Internship Program

Community Moving Education’s Internship Program with a stipend is a six-week immersive experience for young leaders passionate about the arts, culture, community, and social change.

About the Program

Our program offers hands-on opportunities in various disciplines, including Dance (Performance and Choreography), Theater (Acting and Playwriting), Visual Arts, Drumming, Technology, Engineering, and Food Growth/Food Justice.

Interns play a vital role in supporting our summer programming—including Camp Moving Education—by assisting teaching artists, leading activities, mentoring youth, and contributing to projects that uplift mental health, youth voice, and collective well-being. Interns also receive professional mentorship, participate in daily creative practices, and engage in conversations about equity, community care, and systems change.

Whether you’re an artist, innovator, builder, grower, or performer, this internship is a place to grow your skills while making a meaningful impact.
