Our six-week summer Digital Technologies program equips middle and high school students in rural communities with essential tech skills and confidence, bridging the digital divide to ensure success in school, work, and beyond in a tech-driven world.
What's Included
Participants will engage in hands-on learning through fun, interactive workshops covering various essential topics. They will build their digital competency by acquiring crucial tech skills and learning to effectively navigate today’s digital landscape. The program emphasizes cyber citizenship, teaching students about online safety, privacy, and how to be responsible digital citizens.
Additionally, participants will gain proficiency in Google Suite, including Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Drive, all of which are valuable tools for their academic and professional lives. The web development segment will introduce them to basic coding and web design, allowing them to bring their creative ideas to life online. Furthermore, participants will explore using social media platforms responsibly and effectively, focusing on personal branding and communication.
