Tifini Austin is a West African cultural arts instructor with over 15 years of experience in traditional African dance techniques, rhythms, and educational facilitation. She studied under the direction of Marcus Robinson, Artistic Director of the African Caribbean Dance Theatre, Inc., where she served as a principal dance instructor. Ms. Austin has worked in diverse settings, both independently and collaboratively, to deliver and develop curricula infused with unbiased teachings from the African diaspora. She holds an Associate of Science degree in Early Childhood Education, a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology, and is a licensed home-birth midwife. Her motivation stems from a deep connection to African culture and a commitment to seeking and sharing knowledge in every endeavor and with every person.
